Classical TV

Classical TVStatus Update (Mar 27, 2016): The Classical TV channel still exists on Roku, but it does not launch, and their website has the following notice: "We are down for maintenance; however we will back soon." Earlier this month, Classical TV tweeted that "we're briefly out of service to improve our viewing experience" and directed viewers to their YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/ClassicalTV. RokuGuide.com has no additional information regarding the status of the Classical TV channel.

Quick Look: Classical TV is self-described as "a viewer-friendly, ever-changing collection of videos representing the best classical performances from around the world." The Classical TV video library contains over 400 videos with hundreds of hours of performances in opera, ballet, concerts, jazz, drama, musicals, and documentaries.

Access to the full library will require a Classical TV subscription, but you can browse the video titles by selecting the "skip this step" option when you launch the channel. There is a Free Video category with 39 assorted videos for you to view.
