Dota 2 - Live features live streams of Dota 2 gameplay. For those unfamiliar with Dota 2, it is a multiplayer online battle arena video game from Valve. As explained by Wikipedia, "Dota 2 is played in matches between two teams of five players, with each team occupying and defending their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players independently controls a character known as a hero that has unique abilities and differing styles of play. During a match, players collect experience points (XP) and items for their heroes to defeat the opposing team's heroes in player versus player (PvP) combat. A team wins by being the first to destroy the other team's Ancient, a large durable structure located in the center of each base."
At the time of our review, over 100 live battles were taking place on the Dota 2 - Live app. The app developer notes, however, that "[a]ll gameplay footage, streams, and replays are the property of Valve Corporation, tournament organizers, teams, and players. We are not affiliated with Valve or any official Dota 2 events. This channel curates content to provide fans with an engaging viewing experience."
The app also includes video on demand, but titles are somewhat cryptic and there are no video summaries. Example VOD titles include "[MY/ID/Eng] ...chill...layan jer...let's go...", "Hello", and "Manggagi lang intention."
