Sling TV has expanded its college sports coverage with the addition of ESPN3 and Pac-12 Networks and the launch of SEC Network+.
ESPN3 is a multi-screen digital network that streams thousands of live and on-demand sporting events annually. Previously available through WatchESPN, the addition of ESPN3 to Sling TV marks the first time that the service is integrated into a pay-TV provider's channel guide. ESPN3 joins ESPN and ESPN2 as part of the core Sling Orange package.
Sling TV has also launched SEC Network+ with additional SEC Network live events. SEC Network+ lets customers switch between multiple SEC games airing simultaneously. SEC Network+ joins SEC Network as part of the Sports Extra package for Sling Orange subscribers.
Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV, said that "adding ESPN3 and SEC Network+ into our guide means sports fans now have access to some of the most intense athletic match-ups of the year in one place. With Sling TV, fans can sign-up for our service and begin watching the game within minutes and keep up with their favorite team all season long."
Together, ESPN3 and SEC Network+ provide Sling Orange subscribers with access to thousands of live events, including college football, college basketball, NCAA Championships, tennis, soccer, cricket and more, all within the Sling TV channel on Roku and the Sling TV app on other connected devices. Sling Orange customers also have access to the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com.
Sling TV also recently added Pac-12 Networks to the Sports Extra package for both Sling Orange and Sling Blue subscribers. With Pac-12 Networks, Sling TV viewers can watch all six Pac-12 regional feeds with live coverage of 800 sporting events.
