Film Noir has a small collection of free films from the 1940s and 1950s, which is considered the classic period of American film noir. Titles include "Please Murder Me!" (1956), starring Angela Lansbury, in which a lawyer suffers a guilt complex after getting a murder acquittal for his client, and then finding out she did commit the crime; and "Woman on the Run" (1950), about a man who becomes an eyewitness to a murder and is subsequently pursued around San Francisco by his wife, the police, and the killer (shown below).
