Quick Look: Tennis Channel on Roku comes from cable TV's Tennis Channel, a 24-hour network dedicated to the professional sport and tennis lifestyle that is available from several national cable and satellite TV providers, as well as many local and regional cable providers.
The Tennis Channel app provides access to two services:
- The basic Tennis Channel is free to those who receive Tennis Channel through participating pay TV Providers.
- Tennis Channel Plus is a premium service that provides subscribers with access to over 4,500 live and on-demand matches from over 100 ATP & WTA events, along with up to 12 courts from Roland Garros.
You do not have to receive Tennis Channel through a TV provider to get Tennis Channel Plus, and subscribing to Tennis Channel Plus will not gain you access to the basic Tennis Channel programming. These are two individual offerings, though both are accessible through the same Tennis Channel Roku app.
The Tennis Channel app on Roku also offers a large number of free videos under their Free category. Currently available are clips from Tennis Channel Live, player interviews, highlights, press conferences, the TENNIS.com podcast, and much more.
