The Archive

RokuGuide.com is still alive!

Thanks to all who have inquired about the lack of new channel reviews over the last couple of weeks. RokuGuide.com has not been discontinued! I'm on a short break, but will return next week with new reviews and a new newsletter. See you soon!

Quick Look: The Archive offers a collection of movies and TV shows that you likely won't find on other free Roku channels. You might expect a mix of current-era B-movies and straight-to-video titles, but this library isn't just the usual collection of cheesy low-budget flicks found in the department store discount bin.

Movie titles include Freeway, (1996) Basil (1998), Murder in New Hampshire: The Pamela Smart Story (1991), High School U.S.A. (1983), and Shattered Spirits (1986).

Clicking on a movie title will bring up a brief synopsis of the film including a release date and list of actors. The movies sampled were ad-sponsored, but only minimally. There is a disclaimer on the Roku store channel listing stating "Service May Require Additional Fees" however we did not encounter and solicitation for additional services.
