Word Search Game is a Roku version of the classic game in which you find hidden words in a grid of letters. In this case, you can four grid sizes: 8x8, 10x10, 12x12, and 14x14. The words you're looking for are listed on the screen and are scratched off when found. To play, move the cursor to the first or last letter of a word and press the OK button on your remote, then move to the letter at the other end of the word and press OK again - no need to select every word.
When launched, the app will prompt you to allow a company called Bright Data to "use your device's free resources and IP address to download public web data from the Internet" in exchange for less ads, no interruptions, and 2 additional bonus levels. If you skip this, you can play only one level without either purchasing the app or allowing the use of your IP address for harvesting website data. If you purchase the game (see Fees below) you will need to agree to share your name, address, email address, and phone number with the app owner. Our recommendation is spent a few extra dollars on a word search puzzle book for your child's age range, with the added bonus of less screen time.
