Chinese Checkers on Roku is an electronic version of the Chinese Checkers board game that originated in Germany in the 1890s. The game can be played by a single human against 1 to 3 machine opponents, or you and friend can play against one another (on the same Roku, sharing a remote - there is no option to play against online players).
As with the physical game, each player has 10 pieces (with two players) or 15 pieces (with more than two players). Each player starts with all of pieces marbles in their home point of the star-shaped board. The objective is to be the first player to move all of their pieces across the board into the opposite star point. As explained here, players take turns moving a single piece, either by moving one step in any direction to an adjacent empty space, or by jumping in one or any number of available consecutive hops over other single pieces.
The Roku game shows the game controls on screen. When you select a piece to move, the game will also show you the legal moves allowed.
