Arrow Arena Free is far from the "fast-paced archery combat" that is promised by the Roku channel store description. The game consists of the shooter on the left and one or more opponents on the right. You use the [UP] and [DOWN] directional buttons on your Roku remote to change the aim of your arrow, then press [OK] over and over to fire arrows at your opponent(s) while arrows are being fired at you. The objective is to kill your opponent before being killed.
Once you've locked onto an opponent, there is no need to change your aim because the opponents don't move. Likewise, you cannot move either, so you can't dodge any arrows. However, the opponents do randomly fire in the wrong direction. The difficulty comes from some opponents must take more hits to die than you do; in these cases, you're dependent on the opponent randomly firing in the wrong direction.
